Shamanic Hand-Drum w/ Free-Handed Mandala

One of my very-favorite things is to take a discarded, forlorn, no-longer-wanted piece of furniture, and transform it into something-special.

Especially if it’s an item that was once-loved, or is a languishing heirloom … or an “I don’t really like it, but Aunt Gertrude gave it to me, so it lives in the basement” sorta thing.

I promise you – I can transform all manner of “trash” into treasure.

First, I spend time with it.

I get to know it.

I even “listen” to it, to hear what it most wants to be.

I clean it, I do any repairs … and then I prime it, which both prepares it as a type of “blank canvas,” and allows me to get intimate with it.

Then … I unleash it’s inner-glory!
