Lover’s Dance

Today’s the day, y’all!
Today’s the day I offer the first live, in-person, public Paint-Party in over two years!

WooHOOO!!!

It’s been a loooooong time since that first week of March, 2020, when I realized that I had to close up my business, in order to not be a “super-spreader” event.

And I’ve missed this, something-fierce!

I’ve continued to do the regular kids’ Paint-Party at McMinnville Community Center, once a month, and I’ve done a smattering of private Paint-Parties, but this is a re-launch, back into full-time, full-throttle, meaningful-FUN-laden, and regular, public Paint-Parties, with many of my former venues, plus some new ones!

Whew.

I’m as ready as I can be — I worked on a whole new website over the past several months (thank you, David Spinney ); I bought all new paint-brushes (the old ones have lasted for 6+ years of *much* use); I marketed the snot out of this Paint-Party (teaming up again with the incomparable Mylee Smith at The By-Pass in Dayton); I’ve got everything loaded up in my car.

And y’all? I’m nervous. <—yuppers, is true.

Yes, I’ve done this well over 1,000 times before.

Yes, I’ve always overcome all challenges.

Yes, it’s always turned out *way* mo betta than what I’d imagined.

But there’s something oddly-surreal about doing something that I’ve done countless times before … and having to remember all the things that were second-nature to me, in the Before Times.

The thing about nervousness/fear, is that it feels the *same* as excitement, in the body.

The only difference? *Curiosity.*

So, I shall cultivate curiosity about how wonderfully this event can go! Stay tuned … I shall report laterly, and share photos of during, and after the FUN.
