Are you wanting to have your work shown, and even sold, in a Gallery, right here in Dallas?

This is your opportunity!

Art Axis ~ Artisans Co-Op is currently setting up a Gallery space, in the Dallas Event Center, at 939 Main St — the plan is to eventually move into the former L’Attitude building, across the street at 904 S Main St, as soon as that magnificent building is restored.

All the art will be juried – so as to keep the Gallery at a high level of professionalism.

We will be wanting to develop a group of Member Artists — those who are willing and able to assist with the work of keeping the Co-Op (i.e., bookkeeping skills, marketing skills, display skills, etc.), who are willing to pay monthly dues, and who are willing to sit in the Gallery, to manage sales – the number of days per month will be determined by the number of members.  The commission structure will reflect this commitment.

We will also have Consignment Artists — those whose work is juried in, but who lack the time/ability to do the work of running the Co-Op.  No dues will pertain, and no obligation to sit in the Gallery.  The commission structure will be a bit different, as a result.

AND, if there are those who want to be involved, in other ways, such as teaching various classes/workshops, or putting on a performance –  they will be Arts Axis Allies (for a play on words).  They will be able to rent out the space, for their use, according to availability on the calendar.

We want to see your art!  And we want to know how you’d like to be involved — whether as a Member, a Consigner, or as an Ally!
